Will the book be covering algorithms that utilize tree and hash table data structures?

Yes, if these algorithms are added it would be nice.

I plan to cover graph algorithms, which will cover some of the three algorithms.
Here's what is planned to be included:
- breadth-first search
- depth-first search
- topological sort
- dijkstra's algorithm

These are currently not planned for inclusion:
- binary search trees
- discussion on hashing functions

Is there anything in particular you were interested in?

I was hoping for a well-rounded overview algorithm book. Review of algorithms that operate on trees and hash tables would be helpful in preparation for dictionary structure/app development, job interviews, and certification exams. I/m studying for a Java certification now, and it is helpful to have these topics covered.

Trees and hash tables are part of the core computer science curriculum, so including those topics would make the book more appealing to uni students too.

Basic search, put, and delete algorithms along with Big-O comparison would be fine.

I'll see what I can do! I agree that a section on hash tables would be good.

I also strongly support the inclusion of material covering trees and hash tables.

Hash tables are now planned for inclusion!
