After receiving the following email on Oct. 12, I haven't heard a single word on the update. Have anyone else received a updated version of either the ebook or source code?

Nope, haven't heard a peep. This is the first MEAP I ever purchased, back in Jan 09, and almost two later, it's still not published. They should rename it to Spring in Theory, because in theory, we may see this book in our lifetime, but in practice, it's not so likely.
